Farm Week - May 19-23

We had such fun during Farm Week, where our children learned all about farms and farm animals!  Here's what we did...

Our one-year-olds had fun gluing cotton balls on sheep, tissue paper on cows, and painting pigs!

The two-year-olds colored barns and glued a farm animal inside for a fun peek-a-boo game.  They also made handprint chickens, cottonball sheep, and enjoyed painting a muddy puddle to put their colored pigs in.

The three-year-olds painted pigs with coffee grounds, enjoyed playing in the corn sensory tub, and had great storytimes in their big red barn!

The four-year-olds colored cows and barns to make a great farm scene.  They absolutely loved the corn sensory tub, which Ms. Tara poured into their sand and water table for more fun!  They also sorted animals into groups of "On the Farm" and "Not on the Farm."

The five-year-olds made a super cute bulletin board with farm animals they colored.  They practiced their writing skills by writing what the animals say..."Moo" or "Oink" or "Baa."  A great writing activity idea by our Pre-K teacher, Ms. Kelly!  They also colored their barns and put foam animals inside.
