The ones and twos made watermelon suncatchers as one of their art projects for the week.
The threes used play food from their kitchen center to stamp on plates, creating each child's perfect plate of food! They painted paper plates green to be pea pods and are making the peas for them this week.
The fours and fives enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs sensory tub (every class had to play with through the week) and played a relay game taking spaghetti from the tub to a plate. They had a food groups taste test, danced to nutrition songs with ribbon streamers, and dug in their garden. For art, they made peas in a pod, pizzas, food collages, stamped with apples, and drew pictures of their favorite food.
