We made an really "hot" sensory tub for the kids this week...a hot chocolate tub! I don't know who was more excited about it, us or the kids! We simply tore paper into pieces and folded them to make our "chocolate mix", then added white pompoms for marshmallows and black pompoms for chocolate chips. We made up some labels, printed them off, and taped them to containers so the kids could pour and mix hot chocolate into their cups.

We had lots of wintry crafts happening this week. Everything from snowflakes to snowmen to New Year's fireworks. Little hands stayed busy!
The one-year-olds decorated snowflakes. |
The two-year-olds made glitter fireworks for New Year's. |
The three-year-olds painted white blobs to make a melted snowman. |
The three's also did their handprints with 2014 in them for New Year's. |
The four-/five-year-olds also did New Year's handprints. |
Coffee filter snowmen made by the four-/five's |
The four-/five-year-old's cute winter bulletin board featuring snowmen and snowflakes that the kids made themselves. |
