There are really SO many ways to wear a party hat!
We had so many fun craft projects going on. The four- and five-year-olds made awesome cupcakes by sprinkling the tops with glitter and putting wrapping paper through a paper crinkler to make the cupcake liners. (So wonderful to have crafty teachers!) They made a graph of when all the children's birthdays were and talked about which months had the most birthdays, which had the least, and which had the same amount. Then they made the cutest bulletin board with it all!
The three-year-olds had rectangle pieces of paper and glued them on the tops of paper cupcakes to decorate them. They were having so much fun creating!
The one-year-olds had fine motor practice decorating a cupcake cut out of contact paper by sticking brightly colored pompoms to it. So much fun sticking them on and pulling them off!
All in all, we had a great week partying! Now, we're turning towards Christmas! This week's theme is "Christmas Around the World." Our Santa's Workshop is now open with crafts from our teachers, friends, and our Patchers! We'll have a post about that soon... :-)
